New Find/Call to Art Experts and Art Historians
This time I am not the artist. To all you art buffs out there, and art history experts, I have acquired a painting signed Rusche' in the lower right hand corner. I believe it was painted by Moritz Rusche (1888-1969). I'll describe it briefly. It appears to be a still life scene depicting a study with a burning candle prominent in the painting (focal point), a book on the table, and an oriental figurine in the background. It's very traditional oil and the framing is a gold frame. It has a very classical look. If you have any knowledge of this painting or its artist, please share it with me. What might be the value range for this painting on today's market?
